In the year 2000...
Aug. 22nd, 2003 01:08 amAnd now the update. The... pointless update. The update that tends to be profound, but probably won't be tonight because I'm just not feeling terribly profound. I did absolutely nothing all day. Fortunately, the little monster didn't show up at my house until around 5:30, so I wasn't writhing in pain the whole day... just 5 hours in the evening was I writhing. I was helping my brother this afternoon to build a flower box for my mother, and it just wasn't working out. The wood was all warpy and wouldn't stay together and... frustration. Although probably the funniest part was when my brother handed me the drill and said "Go on, give it a go" like I didn't know how to use a drill and had never touched one. It was really funny. Although, he doesn't know how I've teched for Olions and stuff, so I guess I can see why. But seriously, warpy wood. It wasn't as bad as the wood Mrs. Haas bought us for Grease, but it was still pretty bad... I think that's because it got wet. Oh well. So anyhow, I spent most of the day running between that and talking to people on the computer (I would run inside for "water breaks" which ended up taking 5 minutes. I'm such a slacker), and nothing terribly entertaining (which I almost spelled with an "i...") happened on those conversations. Although it seems as though I've gotten people into the habit of posting such conversations *tents fingers* Excellent... all the pieces are falling into place and soon I shall rule the world! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
*ahem*
Ahh... sorry about that... note to self, delete last comment from everyone's memory... and this comment too *shifty eyes* Wow, I'm a geek. Anyway. So that's my life, and I'm sure you're all excited. Liz comes home tomorrow! Well, technically today, but I probably won't get to talk to her when she comes home, although I might... which would be quite good, as I'll have to tell her about how my mom sucks and all. Yeah. I don't see why my mom takes me to the beach as I really don't tend to have fun... hm... *does a rain dance* hopefully that will work. Yeah, but it's always hot and it's like "okay, do the slides... come back... go to wave pool... do slides again... sit around for awhile... do slides... go to wave pool... do slides... go home," Pretty repetitive. Oh well. I still have the hopes that a) it will rain, b) my mom will get sick and we'll have to stay home c) I can convince her to let me stay home, or d) Albuquerque suddenly drops off the map for no apparent reason... and trust me, d is the most likely. *sigh* Well, I guess that's sufficient enough of an update... I hope Liz is happy with my whoring, or I'll be upset.
