Just got this little tidbit in my inbox. I thought it was something from my message board, but it looks pretty scamtastic to me. Maybe that's just my opinion... but I've gotten then "I need to transfer $20,000 for my son in Nicaragua!" scam several times.

In our short years

So 320 asked me to come be her model. Hopefully it won't take very long, because I have things that need to get done. Namely comics, a timeline for design history, and work on that WWII poster for Digital Illustration. Unfortunately I have it saved on a zip disc, and the macs up here don't HAVE zip discs, so I'll probably have to go to school to work on it. Of course, it's not actually due until the last day of class, so I have some time to put it off. That's good. I just got an e-mail from my mom. She's pretty upset with her life right now, because she got demoted in her job and her supervisor is telling her that she can't have too much stuff on her desk because it's "too busy, and needs to look professional." Plus she's just really stressed with her life. She said that people her age are usually settling down with someone and their kids have grown up and they're living in a nice house... but she pretty much has the opposite. I mean... I really feel terrible for my mom. She tries so hard to get something better and get something done in life, but she just keeps getting shit on in one way or another. I wish there was anything I could do for her, but I can't, unfortunatly. I don't even have my OWN life figured out, much less any sort of advice for my mother. Though, I do know that when I'm a world famous graphic designer, pulling in $500,000 a year (haha, yeah right), I'll be sure to buy her a really nice house up in the Jemez, so that she can laugh at all the people who stood in her way. *sigh* My poor mother. Admitedly her life would probably be a lot easier if she didn't have 20~something pets, but she can't really help that she has a big heart and a small house. It's not her fault that she can't keep a well paying job because everyone is trying to screw her. It's not her fault that every guy she marries or plans to marry turns out to be a flaming asspipe. I dunno. I'm rambling about personal affairs that I'm sure nobody cares about, so I'll just end this entry... and put some clothes on.

Guess not. 320 called me like a minute before the bus came and told me that they don't need me anymore. Alas.

Seriously, I loves me some Presidents. It's just yet another one of those bands that I have infinite respect for, because they make completely random songs (like this one, for example) and yet still somehow manage to take their jobs very seriously. Just thought you might all like to know.

You know... I don't mind that my room mate borrows my movies. That's fine. I mean, they're there to be watched, and I've seen them all so many times that I'll probably gouge my eyes out. No, that doesn't bother me. What bothers me is the fact that, not only does he come into my room without my permission, intrude on my personal space, and mess up the order that I have so carefully put out, but he doesn't even return them! Argh... I really don't think I was made to handle this whole living with other people thing. Grr...
