It's been so long... but... not... a dong
Aug. 11th, 2004 11:38 amWell, it's been quite awhile... I just haven't really had much excuse to be down here since Liz went to Oklahoma, so ... well, I haven't. Suprisingly my inbox wasn't completely flooded, but hey, I guess I should be thankful. Anyway, since it's been awhile, I'll start by telling you about the perculiar dreams I've had the last couple nights.
( skip this if you don't care about my dreams )
Now, to the real stuff. I'll skip over most of it, because I'm sure nobody is actually going to read it anyway (except Liz and maybe Jean), but I'm still going to go on about my days. Sunday I pretty much just sat around feeling sorry for myself. I tried to fix my computer, but to no avail. I watched TV, and played some Tony Hawk, and I went to bed. Exciting, I know. I didn't even edit this day.
Monday wasn't much different, except that there was some school in there. I wasn't really even paying that much attention to what we were learning, I just know that I have to build a toothpick structure and we have next week off. We thought that we should try and include me in the structure, seeing as I am a toothpick, but the teacher didn't go for it. We were just going to glue 99 toothpicks to me and have me hold a bunch of encyclopedias. I also managed to dig out my yearbook and go through that on monday morning while I waited for it to be time for me to leave. After that, I came home... watched TV... etc. etc. Oh, wait. I did finally manage to go shopping. Now I have food. Yay. I'd also like to mention at this point that life becomes incredibly difficult when you don't have a microwave.
Tuesday we had a sub in class. She was pretty amusing, but no Teri. We worked some on our final projects for class and whatnot. Basically we have to make a travel brochure for any country that speaks Spanish. My country is Chile. I went home and had every intention of getting my typography homework done, but stuff kept coming up to distract me. I took all the pictures and everything, but I never got around to uploading them onto a computer because... well, I don't exactly have access to one. I was going to do it this morning, but I overslept and now I'm all out of time and I decided not to go to class because I don't have the work done etc. I watch LCS. I voted for John again. This was actually a really tough vote. I thought all three of the comics were just exceptionally hillarious, but I just thought John outshone the other two. I also played pool last night. I'm excited for the tournament. I was playing really well. I moved my beds around so the windows can be accessed, because that's one of the rules for the inspection. And now...I think I'm done. Off to read my friends page.
