Summer Time Blues
Jun. 4th, 2003 12:45 pmMy mom decided to be really lame yesterday and randomly be all "oh, we're going down to Santa Fe to get lumber. Hope you don't mind." I was not terribly pleased, becuase it took about 4 hours out of my day that could've been spent doing other stuff. So, after I got home, Liz called and we talked about...whatever it is we usually talk about...It was fun. Then Mike called and was like "come roleplay!" so I did. We had much fun getting nothing done like we usually do...we're never very serious about it, but oh well. So, I got home around midnight and watched Conan. I haven't watched that show in awhile. It was rather amusing to me.
So, today's itenerary includes eating, going over to Sara's, watching random movies (probably in french again...hehe), and...Liz time! Yay! And I'm going to get to see Liz again on Friday, but I think I already said that in my drunken rantings...that was a really interesting expirience. I must say, if you ever get as drunk as that, don't try to cary on coherant conversations or type. It's not possible. So...yeah. Oh, I don't know if I already said this, either, but I ordered stuff from musician's friend and it'll be here tomorrow! I bought a strap, a gig bag, and 2 dozen picks. That may not sound very cool, but it is. It's like $150 worth of stuff for only $50 because everything is on sale right now to celebrate their 20th anniversary. I'm very excited. Ooh, Warped Tour in only 17 days! Well, I leave in 17 days, but...yeah. So, yet another reason for Nathan to be happy. Oh, sort of on that subject, in an entry a few days back I was bitching about how I'm getting the short end of the stick, right? Well, it turns out I'm just being a pretentious bastard and I should really quit whinning. I've gotten $400 in total...That's probably all I'm going to get, but that's still a hell of a lot. So...yeah, in the words of Green Day, "Quit your whinning cuz it's bringing me down."
