Transplant: No longer an accurate title
Apr. 26th, 2009 08:24 amOh boy, I finally got off my butt and finished some new comics! Hooray! They'll be updating Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!
So, I've given it some thought, and I've decided I'm going to try to start doing Transplant once a week. I think that thrice is just way too tall an order with things like... a job. And a life outside of the internet. This is a large part of the reason why it's one of those projects that has fallen into my "meh" filter, because it takes too much extra time when I have other things to do (excessive playing of Mario Kart notwithstanding). Along with this change I'm going to start drawing them bigger, which might help the art be less terrible. See, I've been drawing them in 2.5" x 7.5" format, which is... not conducive to creativity. I end up trying to cram all the information onto the strip and my characters look like photocopied manequins, and then there's no room for the dialog, and while they might be funny (I've been told this by two, nay, three people!), they're very challenging to look at.
Although they have had a marignal increase in quality since I started this strip waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in '03 (Holy crap, has it really been that long?)
So, anybody who cares, be on the look-out, because on the horizon is going to be a totally new Transplant!
Maybe.
