I think its a really awesome idea, but seems a little bit busy. BUT, if you take it into a good artist (which I know you're smart enough to do!) and let them know what components are really important to you (obviously, representing Adrian) they'd be able to make it into a workable tattoo that you'll be really happy with, I bet. :o
The only thing I can say specifically you may want to talk about tweaking is the constellation and star; I think that it would be really difficult for an artist to have white stars on a black background without the piece being really big (and then that's a lot of black work which could potentially look off), but maybe you could invert it? Or, speak to an artist and maybe see about doing a dark blue sky with the constellation and star emphasized in that?
Well, this is just the preliminary idea. Like you said, obviously there's some tweaking, I just wanted to get the idea down on paper (as it were). Basically the important parts are the scrabble tiles, the star information, the dates, and the color blue.
