Does anybody actually miss when I updated 3 times a day?

So, what's been up with me these days.

Nothing! I'm working. It's boring. The most interesting thing there is that I had this SUPER obnoxious author who was being... well, super obnoxious. I finally got her out of my hair. Basically she was just super demanding and everything had to be perfect, and regardless of any good reason that I gave her, she would NOT take my advice, on design, or layout corrections. It drove me crazy. The higher ups finally just said "give her whatever she wants so we can just get her book done," which I always love hearing.

Oh, also, I'm going paintballing with my department vs. the illustrators next Saturday. Again, my work is way cooler than yours.

I'm sad about the season finale of Venture Brothers. Like... seriously. It was a good episode, but... gah!

Our house is old and crappy and falling apart. Good thing we're renting, not renting to own or something equally fruity, because this house is seriously old and in bad shape.

Um... that's pretty much it. Now I'm hungry, so I'm going to go get "chicken" from Wal-Mart.

I HATE that. There have been so many instances where the author will say something that I KNOW is a crappy, terrible design, and they won't accept ANYTHING but that. So I have to just swallow my pride and know full well that the design sucks ass and it won't sell, but I get to at least rest assured that it's not my fault and I did everything I could.

I could rant about shitty customers until the cows come home... working in design leads to ass.
