Day 01: Your favorite song

I always suck at picking my favorite anything. It's always a process for me, because first I have to narrow down which genre we're talking about, then I have to further narrow it down by artist, and finally pick a song that I could, with no reservations, call my "favorite." If I'm being honest, I would probably have to say something by Ben, since he seems to be my "go to" artist, and I never really skip any of his song when they come up on my ipod (honestly, how many times have you heard me say how awesome he is?).
That being said, I can narrow it down to the three songs that I always ALWAYS put on a play list: Not the Same, Landed, and You Don't Know Me. All of his songs are catchy and the beats infectious, but these three in particular stand out above the crowd because I just LOVE belting the lyrics. Of those three? That's harder. If you held a gun to my head and said I had to choose, I would pick Not the Same in heartbeat. Why? Listen to a live version of it, and you'll know why.
Although I have been listening to "Rules Don't Stop" by We Are Scientists and "Code Monkey" by Jonathan Coulton a lot lately.
