leujinI just had my first doctor visit in about 2.5 years. Don't ask me why I waited so long, I really don't know. It's not like I NEEDED to go. Besides, that's what emergency rooms are for, right?
Anyway, not having insurance kind of sucks, because I did have to go to the ER before we moved up here for asthma~ness and it's like... $300. Yuck.
Anyway, I really liked this doctor. He was funny (he had a card costume on. "I'm a card" lawlz), and he understood Liz and I being super poor, so he gave me a free sample of asthmanex as well as a card for 1 free albuterol inhaler and $15 off the next two I buy. How awesome is that? Way awesome. And the actual visit was only $90.
In other news, it's Halloween, and once again I'm utterly uncreative and unprepared. Which is okay, because we're being boring this year and not actually going anywhere. We're just staying home and handing out candy. I do, however, have devil horns that I bought eons ago, so I'm wearing them in an attempt to not look like I don't care.
I start my new job tomorrow. I'm excited and a little nervous at the same time. Although apparently I'm one of six new artists that they hired. Here all this time I thought I was the only one they interviewed, which is why I got the job so easily. I guess they were just really desperate.
So uh... yeah.
